Magnetogram from HMI and 7 different wavebands observed by AIA's telescopes. AIA covers a wide range of temperatures and will answer important questions about the temperature and energy structure of the Sun's atmosphere.

El SDO capturará imágenes del Sol con calidad IMAX, cada 10 segundos, usando un banco de telescopios de múltiples longitudes de onda llamado Generador de Imágenes Atmósfericas (Atmospheric Imaging Assembly, en idioma inglés, ó AIA).
